Gimme Gimme: Mara Hoffman Spring 2010's "Sweetheart"

 


I've clearly got sweethearts & tulips on the brain -- my version of spring fever. 

So my birthday isn't until August but that doesn't mean I can't admire birthday dress possibilities now...check out Mara Hoffman's Pleated Sweetheart Mini Dress in Clouds Black. Revolve Clothing debuted this beauty less than 24 hours ago and it is already sold out. I have a feeling that the lucky few soon-to-be owners were able to look past the $286.00 price tag once they saw Lauren Conrad in it. [see left] 

Note: the dress does not come with the featured belt. The belt in both Revolve's images as well as on Conrad is from Sienna Miller's Twenty8Twelve collection (for a cool $156.00 and also available at Revolve). I'd probably pass on this particular belt but it certainly helps the dress to have something to give it some shape. I'm thinking of something more vintage -- like a aged black leather with a strong center piece in gold, perhaps a lion with jeweled eyes? Rawr.
