Faith Connexion Leather-Trimmed Jacket, Equipment Sloane Cashmere Sweater, James Perse Long Sleeved Slub Tee, Goldsign Uno Flare Jeans, Giuseppe Zanotti Ankle Boots, and Portolano Pom Pom hat.
Welcome to the season of, "all black everything." The days boast only several hours of sunlight and temperatures hover around 40 degrees. When possible, I try to stay indoors. However, when I do go out, black and layers are requites. An excellent layering piece, Equipment's cashmere sweaters. They're not only warm but very lightweight. I can't wear raw wool as it irritates my skin. Cashmere is soft and non-irritating. The cold weather is dreadful enough; who wants to scratch at the same time?
Also in this look is my Faith Connexion leather-trimmed jacket, that I have a love/hate relationship with. I love the jacket for its peplum flare and darling details (i.e. leather-trim, zippers). However, what I hate is the height of the neck. As someone with an absurdly short neck, high necks are the enemy. The leather-trim top constantly rubs against my chin, which is uncomfortable. I'll probably have the neck tailored into a crew, eliminating issue, unless you have a suggestion!
