The Lazy Ox meets Rebecca Minkoff

CURRENTLY: I am a woman with no plans, wandering around the City of Angels.

LUNCH: an ice cold hefeweizen, sauteed scallops and the best shrimp sandwich I've ever had in my entire life.
WHERE: 241 S. San Pedro Street, Los Angeles, CA

WHAT I LOVED: Aside from the food (which was exquisite), the atmosphere and the staff. Polished wood panels flanked the walls, a semi-exposed kitchen and the perfect 'nook' table for people like myself to hide/eat in peace. When I asked the hostess for food, drink and shopping options, she sat down and scribbled a dozen names with details and directions. And when I couldn't decide on what to eat or just needed someone to chat with, my waiter was more than accommodating. A girl could get used to this kind of five - star quality treatment. This place is proof that you don't have to be a celebrity to get treated like one.

Actress / Model / Musician

Here's my fabulous LA friend Aliza sporting a Rebecca Minkoff Matinee that I gifted to her. I can't believe how well the leather has aged on this gem (and how badly I now want my own). I scooted over to Rebecca Minkoff to see if this style was still being produced but alas, she is not. Never fear my dears! With over 48 pieces of arm candy in her gallery, I'm sure I'll find something to suit me for fall.

How do you discover a place that I've been here in the 3 years that I've lived here!? You need to come back more often :)
