2010: A [brief] year in review

I promised myself that I wasn't going to do this, get all sappy and reflective about 2010 but the last few days really put everything in perspective. 2010 had so many highs for me: another year of law school completed, attended another New York Fashion Week, visited friends in California, met some fantastic fashion bloggers, bought an amazing Canon XSi, VEGAS, and I moved into my first apartment all alone. 2010 also had some lows: my grandmother passed away, a myriad of personal and familial issues, another year of law school completed and relationships/friendships that just didn't work out. I have taken the highs with the lows and endeavor to be a better and stronger person with each passing day.

I want 2011 to be a year that I live fiercely and without regret and I invite you all to do the same. Don't leave your future in someone else's hands.

You attended New York Fashion week? Im extremely jealous! I'm hoping in 2011 to attend London's Fashion Week.
"Dont leave your future in someone else's hands" - I love this, and I really need to apply it to what I do in 2011, I need study for what I want to do, career wise, and not what my parents want me to do. Great post - I'm now following :)

Happy New year dear!
