Valentino Rockstud pumps, Alaia laser-cut suede booties, Givenchy boxcalf ankle boots with cuffed trim, Isabel Marant Bekket suede concealed wedge sneakers, Christian Louboutin Highness 160mm patent leather peep toe pumps, Christian Louboutin Watersnake Daffodile pumps, and Miu Miu bow front ballerina flats.
Anyone who knows me, knows that I love shoes. For me, shoes are the best accessory. And with fall just around the corner, a healthy shoe closet is a must. The key: variety. Instead of experimenting with myriad of colors, my focus is on texture, heel height and composition.
On one end of the spectrum is my Alaia laser-cut suede booties. Never a dull moment with Alaia. The shoes are a black and white laser-cut suede, a graphic take on the bootie. And did you see the "bat ears" on the back of the booties? The stuff of dreams. At the other end is my Miu Miu bow front ballerina flats. In a classic colorway, those flats are my go-to for running around the city, while still maintaing a touch of chicness. They are a wonderful alternative to sneakers, as the time to hangup my white Supergas is approaching fast. I'm still on the hunt for two more styles to add to my collection: a classic red pump and a knee-high boot. Any suggestions? I'm open to all.
