My friends up north wish it were that warm. I'm currently on vacation in Florida, soaking up as much sun as humanly possible. I mean, can you blame me? I'm a recent law school graduate, who is unemployed and miserable. 

I vow to only do outfit posts on what I actually wear. I really can't stand fashion blogger fame and dressing up just to have my picture taken. So if I'm wearing something you like (or dislike) trust that it is actually apart of my "personal style," whatever nebulous thing that is...

The Queen's New Glasses (well, sorta)

After four long years, I am finally getting a new pair of glasses! For those of you who wear glasses on the regular and not for the sake of fashion, you understand the importance of your frames. My glasses are an extension of who I am and selecting the right pair is just crucial as having straight teeth. 

I was originally dead set on the Warby Parker Crosby (see above) in Revolver. But after stopping by the Warby Parker office in New York and having an amazing chat with a representative named Zac, I decided on Greystone instead. 

I should receive my new glasses sometime next week. I'll definitely keep you guys posted on the final product. If any of you have any questions about the process, feel free to message me!

I have worn the same pair of Prada eyeglasses for the last five years. I have also seen my very style of Prada eyeglasses on probably no less than 50 women in New York City. It is time for a change. Thankfully, boutique eyewear brand Warby Parker has come to my rescue with an amazing collection of vintage-inspired frames at unbelievable prices. 

Warby Parker's current eyewear collection consists of 27 limited edition styles + one monocle (yes, a monocle) for men and women, crafted from custom acetates and durable materials. Additionally, each pair is custom fit with anti-reflective, polycarbonate prescription lenses which are not only non-glare but scratch resistant. 

And if you're worried about ordering eyewear online, fear not my four - eyed friends! Warby Parker offers a "Home Try-On" program where you can select any five pairs of glasses and they'll ship them to you for free. You'll have five days to try on the frames and select your favorites. Afterwards, simply ship them back to Warby (on Warby) and place your order online. 

The above images are of the five pairs of glasses that I recently received from Warby Parker for my home try-on. I honestly can't decide which to get! Originally, I was only going to select one pair but now I'm thinking, at $95 a pop (yes, all of their frames are a mere $95), I might as well get two frames. What do you guys think?
