Yes, I'm still running around in my Rebecca Taylor faux fur vest. I'm pretty much going hard for faux fur right now. Currently, I'm working on locating the perfect faux fur hat. If you come across any that you think I might be interested in, please email me.

Faux Fur Tip: If you're like me (athletic build and on the shorter side), avoid faux fur coats. They'll make you look Mr. Snuffleupagus.  A vest is the perfect way to enjoy the fashion without sacrificing what actually looks good on you.

I've been packing and preparing to move when I rediscovered this fantastic Rebecca Taylor blouse, with the tag still attached. Beautiful, isn't she? I'll be spending some time in the Hamptons this summer, so I think she'll finally make her debut there. And of course, rediscovering this top led me to check out the Rebecca Taylor Summer 2010 Collection. Here are a few pieces I wouldn't mind hanging in my closet for immediate wear:

I keep dreaming of what to wear during summer in the city: hot steamy nights, dewy skin, silk dresses and tops, toned legs and unruly hair. I also like to rock out during the day in skinny jeans, shredded tees, edgy wedges and accessories painted black.

But its not summer. Heck, it isn't even spring. Now is the winter of my discontent. 

So in my downtime (I literally laughed out loud at that because I really don't have downtime), I like to browse around and see if there's anything new and worth getting excited about. In the past I've talked about some pieces from Tracy Reese and Tolani but I needed a more comprehensive shopping universe.

After taking out my fine-toothed fashion comb, here are a few pieces that I absolutely must have for my wardrobe. I really don't shop by trends (I think that's pretty clear by now) but rather based on my own bi-polar personal style. I've also tried to add more color to the sea of black that my closet has become consumed with.
